I recently bought the first season of Andromeda right here at Amazon; all 22 episodes in a boxed set, with extras, for $62.98. A reasonable price for a reasonably good product. Then we come to Mutant X. Leaving aside the quality of the product, which is also reasonably good, the price is outrageous! To purchase the available 16 episodes as offered, on individual two-episode DVDs, would cost me $141.84, more than twice what I paid for a full season of Andromeda! And I’d still be six episodes short! Do these people think I’m Nuts?
This was about 4 hours of entertainment for around $15! I can’t see why people complain or say that it’s expensive. The episodes were well done and had some of the best action I’ve seen for a TV production. Really great jumping and kicking. Good special effects too. I would recommend this for someone that wants something fun to watch late at night or on the weekend.
